About Us
The TRIO Story
Mother Teresa once said, “I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; Together, we can do great things.” At Elior North America, the community is at the core of who we are. We recognize that a group of committed individuals with a passion for helping others cannot be stopped. For that reason, Elior North America brought together three leaders, Valley, Bateman, and Lindley, in senior nutrition and community meals to reduce hunger and isolation in our country’s most underserved populations.
The combination of Valley, Bateman, and Lindley brings together more than a century of experience serving local communities. The strength and reach of our three companies will allow us to touch more lives in a meaningful and consistent way personally.
TRIO Values
Serving the growing population of food-insecure and isolated seniors in our communities is a vital mission permeating the TRIO Community Meals team. We are committed to supporting congregate sites and providing home-delivered senior nutrition programs allowing agencies to focus on other aspects of their mission. Our extraordinary team prioritizes using fresh ingredients, local purchasing, and sustainability initiatives for great-tasting meals that appeal to older adults. Together with local agencies, we can positively impact the lives of millions of older Americans with nutritious meals and increased engagement that reduces isolation and improves overall well-being.
Quality
We support the unique mission of each senior nutrition program by customizing congregate and home-delivered meal programs that optimize Menu Development, Meal Production, and Logistics. TRIO Community Meals Menu Development offers a unique solution for each client. From the type of meals – hot, fresh or frozen – to regional menu preferences, menus are created specifically for each program. Meal Production can take place in a TRIO-owned kitchen or a client-owned kitchen. The TRIO Logistics team delivers to congregate sites and homebound senior homes and provides packaged meals for delivery by agency volunteers.
